Producing Next Generation Leaders

We often relate the word "Leadership" with politics, business, sports, and very few areas of our lives. Many a times I've noticed people think and talk, that Leadership is all about position. But, I strongly believe Leadership is everybody’s business. It is for men, women and children. It is for families, business and communities. It is for me and you. It is for each one of us.

Now, I’ll take a back seat and want you to add in your cents here as comments. I really would love to hear your thoughts and opinions.

As a country are we producing moral leaders?
Are our schools and educational institutions teaching some life skills too?
Are the present generation bureaucrats’ ethical leaders?
Where are we failing in producing great inspiring leaders?
What could be done to get on ethical, inspiring leaders as our decision makers?

One of my friends asked me "oh..you are writing on Leadership? ok..What exactly do you mean by Leadership?".

I thought for a while and replied,

LEADERSHIP is

L - Love, love what you do, do what you love.

E - Enunciate, articulate your thoughts clearly.

A - Adore, have utmost esteem, love, and respect to everyone.

D - Dynamic, being highly active and energetic.

E - Empathise, understanding the people.

R - Respect, regard your team with honor and esteem.

S - Splendid, admirable in character.

H - Honest, honorable in principles, intentions, and actions.

I - Integrity, adhere to moral and ethical values.

P - Propelling, to drive forward towards greater goals.
